Silverdraft Supercomputing is seeking a talented, detail oriented, accomplished engineer to join our engineering team as a build engineer. Silverdraft Supercomputing builds the fastest compact supercomputers and ultra-workstations in the world and we are looking for the next badass engineer to join the team as we take the company to the next level.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assembly, installation, configuration and test of customer orders
- Perform repair and maintenance on hardware as needed
- Interface with end users to diagnose system issues
- Communicate across teams and provide projected completion of customer orders, lead times, risks and mitigation plans for any customer builds
- Regularly provide cross team updates in production and workflow
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with hardware assembly and an intimate understanding of CPU, GPU, and memory
- Knowledge of current operating systems (Windows and Linux)
- Superior communication skills (written & oral)
- Must be effective in working both independently and in a team setting
- Computer science or electrical engineering undergraduate degree

DESCRIPTION
The Senior Software Development Engineer is responsible for building tools and assets in Unity and Unreal, take ownership in establishing and implementing continuous integration and delivery automation framework in various work environments, and developing productivity improvement tools. The candidate must demonstrate a solid understanding of implementing enterprise solutions in various operating environments, possess comprehensive software development background preferably including the development of shared/common components and integrations, and have extensive experience as a system administrator.
