Scentsy Con 2018

IVRC will be at this year’s Scentsy Con and Tech Fair at the Scentsy campus, May 4th 5-8pm, showing support and demoing VR for the entirety of the event.

This free event will feature activities for all ages, including photo opportunities with live Star Wars action figures, a martial arts demonstration and plenty of Super-Heroes.Last year, approximately 400 kids, Moms, and Dads attended Scentsy Con. $6,800 was raised and 2,000 pounds of recyclable material was donated for this great local technology advocate, Computers for Kids. This year, with your help, we hope to attract at least 1,000 individuals and raise $13,600, doubling last years’ efforts.Dress up as your favorite fantasy character and join us for fun, games.

Computers for Kids, Inc. (CFK) is a non-profit organization that takes donations of computers; refurbishes and licenses them; and then donates fully-equipped computer systems to schools, non-profits, and students in grades K-14. CFK’s intent is to equalize the educational opportunities that children have by providing them with home computers for their use, thereby closing the “digital divide” occurring between those who have easy access to computer technology vs. those who do not. Through the generosity of individuals and businesses, thousands of children could participate in the technology world of today that they might otherwise not have.
