2017 Business Educator Exchange recap

By August 7, 2017Education, Featured
We had the pleasure of presenting to the 2017 Business Educator Exchange Class on July 27th. Held at Northwest Nazarene University, the event aims to boost the connection between education and Idaho businesses. The goals of the Exchange are to create awareness of career opportunities, promote interactive engaging environments between business and educators and create opportunities for educators to obtain professional development credit. A successful event will enable educators further their career and return to their classrooms with knowledge gained fron the event to translate into their classrooms.
The IVRC was happy to present our mission to promote the educational opportunities that virtual reality products can bring to the classroom. Our demo of Titans of Space was a great introduction to those educators that had never experienced the technology before. It takes the viewer on a guided tour of our solar system and gives detailed information on each celestial body. The response from the Exchange participants was fantastic. We had many educators request the IVRC's support in bringing virtual reality demos to their school at both local and regional levels. We would like to thank Cheryl Deitchler from Meridian Technical Charter High School and STEM Action Center for inviting the IVRC to connect with these great educators. Stay tuned for updates as we get the opportunity follow up with the great connections we made.
